Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released on 28 February 2024 as part of Nike's Air Jordan 5 line. This release has a leather upper in White/Lucky Green/Black/Ice Blue. The Air Jordan line exists because Nike signed Michael Jordan in 1984 and turned an endorsement into a business of its own, one that eventually became a separate brand. The Air Jordan 5 sits in the run of models that carried that project through its most confident years, and the Retro programme is how those shapes stay in circulation. This women's execution runs Lucky Green against white, a pairing that reads fresh and sporting rather than heritage brown, and it gives the model's aggressive lines a lighter register. Lucky Green wants a clean frame.
