Sky J Orange belongs to the family of Air Jordan 1 Lows that treat a single saturated colour as the whole idea. There is no team behind orange and no campaign attached to it, which puts this squarely in the era that began in 1997, when Jordan Brand became a standalone Nike division and the first model stopped being a court shoe with seasonal colours and became a platform. The low keeps Peter Moore's panel map with the ankle removed, and because the panels are flat and wide, a bright colour fills them completely.
