Black Coffee with GORE-TEX in the name tells you what this pair is for before you see it. The 2002R is one of the shapes the brand uses to translate its running archive into something worn on pavements rather than tracks, and a waterproof membrane build turns it into a genuinely seasonal shoe rather than a styling exercise. The colour supports that: Black Coffee is a deep brown black, warmer than a straight black and far better at hiding wet weather marks.
